Alpaca is one of the world’s finest natural fibres and is often described as buttery soft, silky fine, strong, resilient, adding thermal warmth without the weight or itchiness of wool. In fact, most people who cannot tolerate wearing sheep’s wool, can usually wear alpaca products, even against the most sensitive skin. Alpaca fibre comes in 22 natural colours, from black to white, fawn and brown and contains no lanolin which makes it extremely environmentally friendly, as processing requires no harsh chemicals or dyes.
